Israeli strikes kill 25 in Gaza as camps, markets again targeted

Israel has intensified its attacks across Gaza since breaking the ceasefire with Hamas last month, striking areas like Khan Younis’ al-Mawasi camp and az-Zawayda. Wednesday’s attacks killed at least 25 Palestinians, including children at a market and six youths torn apart by blasts. Displaced families described yet another night of tents being obliterated: ‘They spare nothing—not children, not trees.’ Survivors dig through rubble in areas where bombs have repeatedly hit designated shelters, burying neighbours beside fresh craters from earlier strikes. With every so-called ‘safe zone’ eventually targeted, 1.9 million displaced Palestinians now move between bomb sites, knowing nowhere is truly safe. As Israel escalates what survivors call a ‘calculated annihilation,’ the world witnesses repeated violations of protected spaces under international law.
