The Israeli military has targeted a heavily populated area in Gaza City, killing at least 23 Palestinians and injuring many others.
A reconnaissance drone strike targeted an area near the Thai and Palmyra restaurants in al-Wehda Street, in Gaza City. Two missiles were fired at two locations at the same time, 100 metres apart, one inside a restaurant and another at the intersection.
Bodies have been scattered across the street.
Ambulances are scrambling to reach the injured, and transport them to hospitals.
Across Gaza, at least 66 Palestinians have been killed in separate strikes since dawn on Wednesday.
