A spokesperson for the civil defence agency reports that over 85% of buildings in Gaza City’s Shujayea neighbourhood are uninhabitable, leaving more than 120,000 residents homeless. They stated that over 60 bodies have been recovered, with dozens more under the rubble. A medical clinic serving over 60,000 people was destroyed. The spokesperson mentioned that Israeli forces fired on residents in designated evacuation routes. Now, Israeli forces are invading Tal al-Hawa, with initial estimates of at least 50 people killed. Civil defence crews are struggling to manage the multiple targeted areas.
