Gaza is becoming a graveyard for children — you just heard what the UN chief said in the first month of the war.
Since October 20-23, Israeli attacks have killed more than 17-thousand 800 children and left many young survivors permanently scarred.
With only basic medical services available and schools destroyed, Gaza’s young people face an uncertain future.
Al Jazeera’s Lina Abu Akleh reports.
Rosalia Bollen is from UNICEF – and is in Al Mawasi in south-western Gaza.
She told us at least 30 children have been killed since the ceasefire deal was announced.
And even if it does come in to effect – a ceasefire on its own will not end the suffering in Gaza.
