Israel is establishing a new corridor in southern Gaza, further cutting off Palestinians from certain areas of the Strip.
The army is setting up what it calls the Magen Oz Corridor near Khan Younis which stretches across 15 kilometres.
It says it is trying to apply pressure and defeat Hamas in the Khan Younis area.
